short-term sales ops support
Our client base is growing quickly and we're looking for exceptional sales operations leaders to manage and deliver on these high impact engagements. These projects could be a fit for current consultants, full-time sales ops leaders considering a transition to consulting (we recommend it), and full-time folks with only night and weekend availability. This is a great opportunity to sharpen specific skills or gain exposure to new project types to support your professional development.
You’re comfortable in the extremely fast paced, dynamic environments of early stage, high-growth tech startups. You know how to take unstructured problems, ask the right questions, and consistently reach great solutions. You’re empathetic and understand the needs and perspectives of the executive team, sales reps, marketing, product, and everyone in between. You are able to constantly prioritize and re-prioritize your time based on the importance and urgency of the projects and tasks at hand, always focusing first on the 20% of effort that’s going to yield 80% of the results. You effectively communicate upwards and cross-functionally so that everyone is aligned on priorities, timelines, and next steps.
Ideally, you’ve spent 5+ years in a sales operations leadership role (if you’re interested in running projects end to end) or 2+ years in a tactical sales operations role (if you’re interested in only day to day execution). Depending on project need, specific experience with the following types of initiatives could be valuable: initial CRM (primarily Salesforce) implementations, tool configuration, sales process mapping, compensation plan design, sales playbook development, KPI and reporting buildout, territory sizing and implementation, pipeline management and forecasting, and sales ops hiring/onboarding. If you’re a sales ops expert and have at least 5 hours per week of capacity, then we'd like to connect!
We also have a few clients actively hiring for full-time sales operations roles. Please let us know if that might be a fit as well.
